Dr Herath (Ayodhya) Wataliyadda
Dr Herath (Ayodhya) Wataliyadda has been working in the field of paediatrics for more than two decades and holds fellowships from both the UK and Australia. She has gained extensive international experience, having worked in Sri Lanka and the United Kingdom before settling in Australia in 2015.
Over the years, Dr Wataliyadda has developed broad experience in caring for newborns, infants, young children, and adolescents presenting with a wide range of paediatric conditions. Her clinical experience allows her to support families through many stages of childhood health and development.
Dr Wataliyadda takes a holistic approach to caring for her patients and their families. She strongly believes in a multidisciplinary, team-based and personalised approach when managing many paediatric conditions, ensuring that each child receives care tailored to their individual needs.
She provides care for patients from neonates to young adults and has a special interest in behavioural and developmental paediatrics, including Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD, and learning difficulties. In addition, she manages neonatal health problems, growth concerns, asthma, allergies, epilepsy, and a wide range of general paediatric conditions with compassion and dedication.
Her focus is always on supporting children’s health, development, and wellbeing while working closely with families to provide thoughtful and comprehensive care,
